It's been a long time since the Darkness has enveloped the Forest, but now a new light is about to rise, in order to dispel it. A small firefly lights up Kiku's path across challenges and enemies, to reach the Luminescent Tree and bring back the light to the Forest. Face fearsome light-eater creature threatening the peaceful life in the Forest; many battles await our hero during his adventure...
Hope is a classical action-adventure game that mix 2D landscapes with 3D characters and it's inspired by the most famous Metroidvania games
- Classical side-scrolling actions;
- Dash, jump and climb walls to make your way across enemies and environment;
- Immersive hand-drawn landscapes with a parallax effect;
- Dedicated soundtrack and sound effects will accompany you in your adventure.

Why is it not pointed out that this is a Unity game? If I had known that, I wouldn't have downloaded it.
If this is a demo for a larger release, then you've got my attention, if the controls and game feel were polished a little better and the game made less...for lack of a better word, annoying, this will be a very memorable title.
The boss is a little tradey with the player and the mosquitos are just infuriating, but otherwise I can see this game, if released, becoming a classic.

This was a school project, our team made it in one month so of course it's far from being a perfect demo, but we're really happy that you played it ^^
